JIG

Built by someone who got sick of re-typing.

Jig is run by Husnain, from Greater Manchester.

I run a recruitment agency. Most weeks, a surprising amount of it was moving information from one place to another — reading an email, typing it into a spreadsheet, copying details off a document into a system that should already have had them.

It worked. It also ate hours and caused mistakes. So I started building things to stop doing it, and found that nearly every business I spoke to had the same problem wearing different clothes.

That's Jig. I find the work a team repeats and replace it with software built into the tools they already use, then measure what it saved.

What I'm not

I'm not a twenty-year consultant and I won't pretend to be. I'm a computer science background, a business degree, a data science master's starting next year, and a company I use as the test bench for everything before it goes near a client.

What you get instead of a long CV: a published price, a written projection before any work starts, and half the fee riding on whether the hours actually moved.

Where I work

Greater Manchester and the North West, mostly in person for the first visit. Remote after that, unless you'd rather not be.
